Experience authentic Community

Though each Christian has a personal relationship with God, that relationship is not individual or private. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation. We were made for community; relationship with God and with each other. The local church is not merely a place that we attend but a people to whom we belong. The Bible calls us members of the body (1 Corinthians 12:12-31) with the expectation that we contribute to the body for the glory of God and the good of His people.

We dream of a church that is not identified by a building, a preacher, or a service but by people who live out the gospel in their relationships and their everyday lives. Our Community Life is designed to get us moving one step closer to that dream.

We would love to have become part of one our amazing groups.

Here are the easy ways to become part of a group:

  • Check out all of the groups and their info and even sign up online in our Group Finder by clicking this link.
  • Fill out & submit a Connect Card expressing interest in small groups. A leader will follow up with you to help you find the best group for you.
  • Stop by the Community Life area in our Main Lobby before or after worship services.

How Do small Groups work?

Our desire is for everyone who attends Christ Chapel to experience lasting, authentic community here. Our small groups are places where Sunday gatherings are made small—by allowing you to meet people in your area to connect with and form real relationships.

Small Groups are an essential part of the life of our House. These groups are intentionally designed to not only give everyone at Christ Chapel a place to belong and be cared for, but also a place to be encouraged and strengthened in their journey with Jesus.

Small Groups empower you to connect other people to Christ Chapel using your hobbies ideas, or interests. These groups are interest-based and activity based.

Small Groups are an opportunity for people to connect with other people with like-minded interests or hobbies. Focus Groups consists of fitness groups, creative arts, bible studies, and more.

Our small groups vary from bible studies, activity-based, fellowship-based, and ministry focuses. The goal is DISCIPLESHIP and RELATIONSHIPS are the method.

For those over 18 years old, being a part of a small group is a great chance to meet people, build community and develop lasting relationships with others you can do life with.

Small Groups provide:

  1. Meaningful CONNECTION with other believers.
  2. Enhanced COMMUNICATION from Christ Chapel through your leader and also communication from you to church leadership. Can you imagine your prayer request being prayed for by your Community Group Leader, your group, church staff, deacons, elders, and pastor? Community Groups enhance our prayer life!
  3. Loving CARE for one another. Community Groups take care of one another. When you need help, they are there! If you go to the hospital or a loved one passes away your Community Group surrounds you and cares for you. You also share in caring for others in your group.
