Purity and holiness are not very common character traits in society today, but as disciples of Jesus, we are called to live a life of moral purity and holiness. The word “holy” occurs over 600 times in the bible. Over 700 times if you include terms like holiness, etc. God is calling us to live a life of holiness so we can live with him in Heaven for eternity.
