Compassion is so very vital to our Christian faith and yet, it is something that we the church may be lacking at times. The time has come for us to get back to the basics and begin to love and see people the way Jesus does and allow it to move us to do something. The world has hijacked the concept of compassion. They have made it about works and doing nice things, but they have missed or forgotten the most powerful, transforming piece of the puzzle--and that is Jesus.
